Home owners insurance covers your home, your out buildings and your belongings. It also provides personal liability for you and your property. There is some coverage that increase for higher limits on furs or jewelry, or we can add optional items like boats, personal water craft and quads, and the liability that goes with those items. Some things are included like golf carts, belongings of unmarried students living away from home, and many more. There is also coverage should you have to live elsewhere while your home is being repaired or replaced due to a claim.
Tenant's insurance is mainly to cover your belongings, but we can also increase limits or add boats etc. It also includes liability should you cause bodily injury or property damage to someone else.
Condo insurance covers your belongings and liability, with additional coverage for improvements you have made to your suite, and contingent coverage towards the building.
Rental home coverage covers the building and property you provide, like appliances, as well as liability for the property.
Cottages or seasonal home coverage is for the cabin, any outbuildings and belongings, and also provides liability. Boats etc an be added to this policy as well.
Boats, watercraft, quads etc are not automatically covered as personal property, and usually require an extra premium for the item and the associated liability.
